vintage rentals by Fancy That
Not a new comer on the vintage rental scene, I've been collecting and renting vintage china for years. After a couple of years of research and preparation, I officially launched in 2003, at a time when the vintage rental concept was basically uncharted territory here in the U.S. (only one company on the west coast with a rustic farmhouse vibe). I'll never forget my first customer - located in CA. I actually turned her away, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She was having a tea party for her grandmother, and I needed to figure out how to ship my china clear across the country- asap.
Now, many years and countless weddings, showers and events later, vintage rentals by Fancy That has been referred to as the rental company to the mansions. I'm so proud of what it's become, and I'm thrilled to continue to share my love and reverence of vintage treasures with others.
the retail shoppe - gifts of tea and whatnot
In our shoppe you'll find a unique selection of flavored teas, delicious tea bread, traditional spreads for afternoon tea (such as French jams and English curds and clotted cream) herbal sugars, hand decorated sugar cubes, etc., plus beautiful gifts and accessories, such as one-of-a kind-jewelry made from vintage china, and much more.
We are located on the 34E bus route. There is a parking lot in front of and in the rear of our shop. Get directions, here.
Brad likes to refer to himself as simply "the husband of the owner", but if you've ever seen him in action, either at our shoppe or on a delivery, you already know he is an integral part of what makes Fancy That run. If there's a secret to our success, it's Brad. I often say he makes dreams come true, because without him, Fancy That would not be where it is today. After drinking coffee for 20 years in the U.S. Navy, he's now affectionately known around town as "The Tea Guy". :)
